SWEET & STICKY SESAME CAULIFLOWER 🥢
Super easy cauli bites are perfect as a main or a tasty appetizer! The key is to add corn starch to the batter. It helps keep things extra crispy and crunchy! This recipes saves money in place of your fave takeout spot.
The magic is always in the sauce! You already have all the ingredients sitting in your fridge. Cook the sauce down until it’s thick for the perfect coating on the cauliflower. Eat with a dip, toss it on rice or noodles and enjoy for days on end.

Ingredients
1 head of cauliflower, cut into florets
1/2 cup all purpose flour
2 tbsp corn starch
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup water
1 tbsp sesame oil
Sticky Sesame Sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
2 tsp ground ginger
2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup maple syrup
2 tbsp seasoned rice wine vinegar
1 tbsp corn starch
1/4 cup water
Method
1. Preheat your oven to 425F.
2. In a large bowl, add the flour, corn starch, salt, water and sesame oil. Mix to combine and then add in your cauliflower florets. Toss to evenly coat everything and carefully place the cauliflower on a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake for 25 minutes.
3. In a small pot, add everything for the sticky sesame sauce except the corn starch and water. Combine the corn starch and water in a smaller separate bowl. Bring the soy maple mixture to a boil and then stir in the corn starch mixture. Mix and warm until thickened.
4. Once the cauliflower is golden brown, toss in a large bowl and add the sticky sesame sauce and mix to coat. Serve with noodles or rice and top with extra sauce, sliced green onions and more sesame seeds! Enjoy :)
